Extended Family Session at Dominion Arboretum
A Summer Extended Family Session at the Dominion Arboretum
This summer was very wet, but that also meant that it was lush and beautiful which made the Dominion Arboretum even more beautiful and a great location for a casual stroll in the park with a few photos along the way to celebrate an anniversary and a special family gathering. During extended family sessions, I adore watching grandparents with their grandchildren; their inner child emerges as they run around with them, laughing and giggling. full of love and joy.
A Painful DIY Project
Have you ever tried to take your own extended family photos? How did you do it? Was it a family reunion? Birthday party? A random gathering?
How did that work out for you?
Chances are, it was a struggle. You may have been successful at getting a decent group shot, but how much hair did you lose in the process? Was everyone still talking to each other by the end? Good times.
Let Us Help
This is where we come in. Let Michelle Ma Belle Photography create an enjoyable and professional photography experience for everyone. Together we can determine the ideal location, the "must-have" shot list, discuss family dynamics and any special accommodations that may be required. Basically, we fully customize the extended family photo session with all your goals, needs, style and budget in mind.
And we guarantee that everyone will leave smiling.
What to Expect
With family lifestyle portraiture, our sessions offer a mix of posed and candid images. We will offer gentle guidance throughout the photo session, but we let families interact organically and and do our best to capture the natural interactions and the genuine smiles.
For extended family sessions, we use a workflow that allows us to maximize our time together so that we can meet all our session goals before anyone loses interest or wanders off.
