Gobble, Gobble: Turkey Day in the Ottawa Valley
Every year we seem to have something else to be grateful for, and this year was no different. My father recently had a little health scare but I am happy to report that he is back to his old self and in tip top shape. Nothing like a little scare like that to remind you just how much someone means to you. Hug that someone – tightly xoxo
My parents will soon be celebrating 40 years of marriage. Say Whaat?
Seriously, that is epic. They’ve been through so much (I am partly to blame for that haha) and no matter the storm, they never jumped ship. They were always such incredible role models; as individuals and as a couple.
Daddy's Mini Me
There is no denying the family link between these two hooligans. My little monkey is the spitting image of his father; they share a similar Irish temper as well.
Yes, that’s ME in FRONT of the camera –and without a tripod! Hubby is getting pretty good with my “fancy camera”; I may need to let him use it more often ;)
Count the Memories, Not the Calories!
The entire Matthieu-Higgins clan enjoyed a delectable Thanksgiving meal prepared by Grand-maman, some park play by the Ottawa river, and some good old fashioned quality family time. My boys love spending time with Grand-maman, Grandpa, and of course, their favourite Auntie. We certainly counted many more memories than calories this Thanksgiving!
