It's the most Wonder-FALL time of the year!

I may be biased, but I absolutely love autumn in our nation’s capital region. Ottawa is a beautiful city year round, but the fall is particularly stunning with the variety of colourful foliage paired with cozy temperatures and spectacular scenery.

So where are the best spots for family portraits at this time of year? That’s a tricky question because the leaves don’t always change according to a specific schedule and the colour scheme can vary somewhat from year to year. It also depends on what you’d like
to use as your backdrop.

My favourite spots include beautiful colours along with rustic charm; locations with historical character, old architecture and peaceful pathways.

MY TOP 5:
1. Hogsback Falls
2. Experimental Farm, Ornamental Gardens & Arboretum
3. Stoney Swamp (Barrhaven)
4. Mackenzie King Estates
5. Watson’s Mill (Manotick)

There are MANY more fabulous fall photo locations from East to West and North to South of Ottawa, and I’m certainly willing and interested in exploring and photographing new places.

Where is YOUR favourite place to visit with your family during
the most Wonder-FALL time of the year?

I’d love to have the opportunity to capture some of those family memories for you!
